Walter Philip Casmer, Jr. Passed away on February 21, 2021 at Virtua-Lady Of Lourdes Hospital, Camden, NJ .
He was the husband of Charlotte Barbara (Nieroda) Casmer for 55 years.
Walt was born in Camden, NJ on December 3,1941 to the late Walter & Ann (Trotsky) Casmer, Sr. and then lived in Audubon Park, NJ.
Walt was an electrician by trade. He worked at RCA Spacecenter in Heightstown, NJ, GE in Philadelphia, Pa, Owens Corning in Barrington, NJ for 20 years. Alcatel in Mt. Laurel, NJ for 10 years. TTI-Marlton, NJ and Southern Container Corp of Dayton, NJ. He had his own business, Suburban Fence Company, installing fences throughout the area.
In his 30's, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle up and down the East coast. Especially, to Lake George for 10 years. Football was also his favorite sport on weekends.
In addition to his wife Charlotte, Walter is survived by his sons Alan D. Casmer of Audubon, NJ, Ronald (Beverly) Casmer of Mt. Ephraim, NJ
5 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren, Many Cousins and Richard & Elenore Casmer.
Relatives, friends and neighbors are invited to gather with Walt's family. We will be sharing heartfelt stories on Tuesday morning between 9:30 am and 10:30 am at Creran Celebration, Etherington & Creran Funeral Homes 400 White Horse Pike, Oaklyn. The Casmer family will celebrate Walt's life in a mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at St. Joseph the worker parish, St. Aloysius Church 37 West Haddon Ave, Oaklyn. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park 1300 Route 130N Cinnaminson, NJ
