Vicki Carr (nee Monett) age 66 of Marlton, NJ passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday July 21, 2011.
Daughter of the late Robert & Anne Monett. Survived by her husband Robert J. Carr, Sr.; her dear children Robert J. Carr, Jr., Bonni DiRenzi (Joe) & Heather Bergan (Ellsworth). Also surviving are her brothers David Monett (Lorraine) & Michael Monett (Margo) , cherished grandchildren Breana & Reece DiRenzi and Cole & Kira Bergan, niece Nicole Schwanda (Tom) and nephew Eric Monett.
Vicki was born in Galion, OH and grew up in Pennsauken, NJ. Vicki enjoyed hot air ballooning, gardening, sewing, reconnecting with old friends on Facebook, winning awards at car shows with the Delorean and spending time with her grandchildren. She and her family were particularly proud that she went back to school to become a nurse while raising her children. Vicki worked as an RN at the Cooper Hospital ER for 15 years and later for the Oral Surgical group of Noble, Porter, Goldberg & Martin. She was also active with the Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the American Cancer Society.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Wednesday evening from 5pm-8pm and again on Thursday morning from 9am-10am at the HENRY FUNERAL HOME, 152 W Atlantic Ave., Audubon followed by a funeral service at 10am. Burial and graveside tribute will take place at Bethel Memorial Park in Pennsauken.
