Theodore "Ted" Deusch

January 7, 1912 — October 16, 2010

Of Collingswood Manor, formerly of Magnolia, NJ passed away on Saturday October 16, 2010 at the age of 98.

Mr. Deusch was active in various Committees and Organizations in both Magnolia and Audubon. Some of which include the Camden Businessman's Building & Loan, Magnolia PTA, Historical Societies of Magnolia and Audubon (NJ Society of PA), Magnolia School Board, Magnolia Planning Board, Magnolia United Methodist Church Parsonage Committee, church Trustee & Nomination Committee, and church Oyster Suppers. Ted was also the Civil Defense Warden for Magnolia, belonged to various dance groups along with his wife Margaret, was an avid reader and reader and has been published in Reminisce & SJ Magazines. He loved outdoor activities and had visited every state by car. He was well known for his extraordinary Christmas cards, train platforms and boat parade designs. His various hobbies brought him both joy and recognition awards.

Mr. Deusch is survived by his loving wife of 74 years, Margaret (nee Hunt). Ted is the beloved father of Judith Propert(William) Brick, NJ and Janet Robinson(James) Williamstown, NJ. He is the proud grandfather of Jeff, Russell and Jennifer and will be dearly missed by his great grandson Ryan.

Relatives and friends are invited to remember and pay tribute on Wednesday afternoon between 1:30 and 2pm at Collingswood Manor, Haddon Avenue, Collingswood, NJ. Service will follow at 2pm in the Chapel at Collingswood Manor. Internment and graveside tribute will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of one's choice.
