Stephen H. Hilbert of Stratford, NJ on January 26, 2017. Aged 70 years.

Beloved husband of the late Katherine (nee Vandever) Hilbert.
Devoted father of Christine Chandler and her husband, Mike.
Loving grandfather of Stephen Chandler and Ryan Chandler.
Dear brother of the late Robert Hilbert.

Steve was a graduate of Audubon High School and Temple University before joining the ranks at SEPTA where he became the Director of Maintenance in Paoli, Wayne Junction and Frazier, PA . He proudly served in the US National Guard.
He was an active member of his church and seved as a Trustee.
Steve enjoyed spending time on the beach in Ocean City, NJ, riding on his boat on the calm waters of the bay or the Great Egg Harbor River or relaxing at Riverbeach campground (Hilbert Hollow). Steve was very talented and his hobbies included wood carving of birds, carpentry and refurbishing his 1977 Corvette. He also enjoyed spending time on the golf course with his grandsons and cheering them on at their various sports events.

Viewing Friday, February 3, 2017 from 10 AM -11 AM in the First Presbyterian Church, 21 East Church St., Blackwood NJ 08012.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Friday in the church.
Interment First Presbyterian Church of Blackwood Cemetery.
