Sonia Smyth (nee Weich), age 78 of Audubon, passed away on Saturday May 8, 2010 at Kennedy Memorial Hospital, Stratford.

Mrs. Smyth was born in The Republic of Panama and had been a longtime Audubon resident. Sonia had worked as an Inspector and Technician for Okidata in Mt. laurel and had been a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Church in Haddon Heights. She was a member of the Sixty Plus Club of Audubon Park and the Audubon Young at Heart Club.

Mrs. Smyth is the Beloved wife of the late William S. Smyth, mother of the late William Dietrich and sister of the late Max Weich. Sonia is survived by her son Joseph Dietrich, her daughter Nancy& her husband Art Ramont and her sister Dora& her husband John Weber-Delcore. She is the proud grandmother of Joseph, Nicole, Samantha, Kevin, Kimberly and Geoffrey. Mrs. Smyth is also survived and will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Arden Weich, her daughter-in-law Regina Dietrich as well as her nieces and nephews; Rick, Kevin, Dale, Dean and Debbie.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the Smyth family to remember and pay tribute to Sonia on Friday evening between 6 and 8 pm at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 10 am at St. Rose of Lima Church, 4th Ave. & Kings Hwy, Haddon Heights. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd. Cherry Hill, NJ 08034
