Scott W Morris

March 13, 1988 — December 3, 2020

If you could choose one thing to get you through life, choose a sense of humor. Add a dirty mind and beautiful heart. Well, what you get is Scott W. Morris. He had a heart of gold and a charisma that you couldn’t buy, couldn't make and surely couldn’t fake. Scott shared it through witty “colorful” jokes. If love alone could have saved him, he would have lived forever. On Thursday December 3, 2020 the unthinkable became the unspeakable. In just 32 short years, Scott left this world in the company of who brought him into it at Jefferson Hospital in Washington Twp. He will be forever loved and forever missed

Courage is not the absence of fear but rather the judgement that something else is more important than fear. During hard times this courage doesn’t create heroes. It reveals the hero within us. Scott’s health faced years of uncertainty and the hero within him was inspired by the courage of the fire service and firefighters. He absolutely adored all things involving fire trucks and had a great respect for fire departments.

Scott is the beloved son of Marion “Sissy” (nee Marlow) and her husband Michael Simon and the late Scott Morris. He is the loving brother of Shaun Morris and is survived by his step-sisters Heather & Alexis Simon. Scott was the cherished grandson of the late William & Mary Marlow. He was the awesome godson and nephew of Bill & Lynne Marlow and is the special nephew of Frank (the late Cathy), Thomas, Mary & her husband Douglas Mealo and Michael Marlow. Scott was also loved and will be sadly missed by many cousins, friends and his special friend Dennis Walton.

Relatives, Friends, Neighbors and the heroes of our community’s fire service are invited to join the Morris family. We’ll be sharing “colorful” jokes and listening to Uncle Frank on Friday evening between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm at Creran Celebration Etherington & Creran Funeral Homes, 400 White Horse Pike Oaklyn. #crerancelebration #heartfelt
