Ruth C. Hosey, a longtime resident of Collingswood, New Jersey, passed away on May 18, 2020. She was 90 years old.
Ruth was a wonderful example to us all. She was loving, patient, generous, and caring, always looking out for her family, friends, and neighbors. She used kind and encouraging words with a beautiful, warm smile, even when times were tough. Her independent spirit allowed her to persevere through adversity with grace. Ruth had a fondness for animals and the outdoors, especially horses which reminded her of her childhood pets and travel to the western United States. She was loved and adored by her family and everyone who knew her.
Ruth is survived by her four children, Jamie (Mike), Deborah (Robert) Fiorentini, Timothy Hosey, and Donna (Perry) Yarbrough; six grandchildren, Timothy and James Hosey, Andrew (Ashley) and Tracey Yarbrough, Robert (Christi) and Sandra Fiorentini; three great grandchildren, Hannah and Matthew Elvis and Rocco Fiorentini; and two more great grandchildren on the way.
Ruth is predeceased by her parents Lester and Ione, husband James R. Hosey, brother Jesse, and loving companion Andrew Rudinoff.
Mommom Ruthie, as she was called by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, leaves us rich in memories. Although no longer here on Earth, she will live fondly in our hearts forever. Sweet dreams, Ruthie, until we see you again.
