Russell D Cogill, Jr.

Russell D. Cogill, age 67 of Deptford, passed away at home on Saturday May 6, 2023.

Russell enjoyed playing guitar, traveling, lottery, one arm bandits and busting chops with his friends. He had a sharp witted personality and always had something to just say.

Russell graduated from Gloucester City High School, class of 1975. He was a part of the US Navy from 1975 to 1977. Russell retired from the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission as was currently working at Holcomb Bus Service. He was very proud of being a celebrated 3rd degree Alexandrian High Priest. What he loved most was hearing his grandkids yell “Poppie to him.

Unfortunately, he was predeceased by his oldest son, Russell “Moose” Cogill, III. Russ is survived by his wife of 45 years, Pamela (nee Bolt), his son Joseph and bonus daughter, Mary Beth, his many adoring grandchildren, great grandchildren, close friend Kathy and a host of family and friends.
