Rudolph G. D’Ottavi of Mickleton, formerly of Mt. Ephraim, passed away on Thursday July 1, 2021 at the age of 92 years. Beloved husband of Ellen (nee Snyder) Predeceased by his first wife Frances (nee Marini), his daughter Judy Geissinger, and his sisters Mildred Giorgio, Mary Neri, and Caroline D’Ottavi. Loving father of Denise Brooks (Dutch) of Blackwood, Michael D’Ottavi (Jeanne) of Woolwich, Maryellen Martin (Sterling) of Hainesport and Stephen D’Ottavi (Lisa) of West Deptford. Dear brother of Minnie Cordo of Cherry Hill and Joseph D’Ottavi (Helen) of Voorhees. Dear grandfather of Kristy, Douglas, Amanda, Andrea, Bryan (Stephanie), Darren, Nicholas, Gregory,Thomas and 3 great grandchildren.
Rudolph was a U.S. Army veteran who served as an OR technician during his years of service. He retired from RCA in both the Camden and Deptford locations after 42 years, where he also served proudly as a union representative. Rudolph enjoyed socializing, bowling, watching sports, especially those his grandchildren were involved in, but most of all, he enjoyed his family. He was proud of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and he will be sadly missed.
Viewing will be Wednesday July 7, 2021 9:00-11:00AM at Creran Celebration, 400 White Horse Pike, Oaklyn, NJ 08107. His Mass of Christian burial will take place at 11:30AM at St. Aloysius Church/St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 37 W. Haddon Ave., Oaklyn, NJ 08107. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
