Rose D'Antonio (nee Bontivoglio), age 89 of Blackwood, passed away peacefully at home on Monday May 31, 2010.
Mrs. D'Antonio was born in Calabria, Italy and had been a longtime resident of Blackwood. Rose had worked alongside her sons at More Than Just Rings in Clementon and had been the secretary for 28 years. She was dedicated to her faith and was a parishioner of St. Jude R.C. Church in Blackwood.
Mrs. D'Antonio is the daughter of the late Adolf & Victoria Bontivoglio. Rose was predeceased by her husband Enrico and is the mother of; Alfred & his wife Kathleen, James & his wife Rose, John & his wife Maryanne, Suzanne & her husband Vince Botta, the late Harry & his wife Eleanor and the late Rosemarie Baranick. She is the proud grandmother of 14, great grandmother 10 and is also survived and will be sadly missed by her sister Yolanda Giacomucci as well as her nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the D'Antonio family to remember and pay tribute to Rose on Friday morning between 9 and 10:30 am at Our lady of Hope R.C. Church (formerly St. Agnes) 701 Little Gloucester Rd., Blackwood where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am. Interment and graveside tribute will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon.
