Robert M. Stmarie

June 23, 1931 — December 21, 2021

Robert M. St. Marie, age 90 of Mt. Laurel, formerly of Cherry Hill and Long Island, NY passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Virtua Hospital in Voorhees.

Mr. St. Marie was the husband of the late Mildred S. and father of Donald F. St. Marie of Williamstown, and sister Ruth and was the proud grandfather of Kandice and Megan.

Mr. St. Marie was a graduate of Babylon High School, Babylon, Long Island, NY, and had upheld the ideals of our American freedoms in the United States Air Force during the Korean Campaign. He was a member of the Sampson Air Force Base Association, a 63-year congregant of the First Presbyterian Church of Haddonfield and served as Deacon for 14 years. Mr. St. Marie was a 51-year member of the Rising Sun Lodge No. 15 and was a member of the Excelsior Consistory of Collingswood, Crescent Shrine Temple as well as the Crescent Shrine Provost Guard, Fairview Chapter No. 219 O.E.S. He was a member of the Nelson W. Craig High Twelve Club, past member and Chief of Woodcrest Fire Company, Station 6, Cherry Hill as well as a past football official and member of the Edward G. Myers Chapter of the N.J.F.O.A.

Mr. St. Marie made his career as an Electrical Designer working 36 years for RCA/GE in Camden and Moorestown before retiring in 1981. He was an avid golfer, bridge player and enjoyed traveling.

Relatives, friends, neighbors, and lodge are invited to gather with the St. Marie family on Tuesday evening between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm at Creran Celebration Etherington & Creran Funeral Homes 400 White Horse Pike, Oaklyn where a Masonic ceremony will be held at 8:00 pm. A Funeral Ceremony will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at  10:00 am at The First Presbyterian Church 20 Kings Highway East, Haddonfield, NJ 08033. A graveside tribute and United States Air Force Military Honors will immediately follow at Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Deacon’s Scholarship Fund c/o the First Presbyterian Church at the above address.
