Of Vero Beach, FL formerly of Riverside on February 22, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Adelaide "Addie" M. (nee Morrissey) Forbes. Devoted father of Brian Forbes (Sheila) of Haddon Twp. and Paul Forbes of Riverside. Brother of Creighton Schofield of FL and Paula Arnold of PA. Loving grandfather of Bridget and Maureen.
Richard was a US Army veteran. He had worked for Western Electric prior to his employment with AT&T as a Communication Installer. Throughout his career, Richard had the pleasure of traveling worldwide for his company and was a member of the Pioneers.
Funeral services and interment with military honors will take place at Beverly National Cemetery at a later date.
