Reverend Father William T. Schneider, age 82 of Sicklerville, passed away at Jefferson Hospital, Stratford on Saturday January 16, 2021.
Father Schneider was born in Riverside and ordained on December 18, 1963 at North American College in Rome, Italy. He had spent most of his ministry in the Trenton Diocese in many parishes and closed his service to his faith in 2000. Father Schneider enjoyed retired life in Sicklerville with his dear companions Perfecto “Pete”, his wife Magnificento “Mimi” Esteban and Romeo Santos who were all faithful parishioners of St. Charles Borromeo Church in Sicklerville.
Father Schneider is the son of the late Herbert & his wife Kathryn (nee Fowler) Schneider. He is the brother of Bernadette & her husband Chuck Smutko, John Schneider and the late Mary Emma Kennedy as well as the late Joan Zane. Father is also survived by his nieces and nephews; Pam, Tammy, Tracy, Penny, Barbara, Maria, Kathy, Danny and the late Bobby. He is also survived and will be sadly missed by Lorraine & Matthew Wentzel.
Relatives, friends and Father’s many parishioners are invited to join the Schneider family to celebrate life and service in faith on Tuesday morning, January 26th. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am at St. Charles Borromoeo Church 176 Stage Coach Rd. Sicklerville. Inurnment and a graveside tribute on consecrated ground will immediately follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Riverside. #crerancelebration #heartfelt
