Paul W. Bertini, Sr., age 84 of Audubon, passed away on Tuesday May 25, 2010 at the Capital Health Medical Center in Trenton.
Mr. Bertini was born and raised in Landisville, NJ and had been a longtime Audubon resident. Paul was a real sports enthusiast. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports, loved baseball and had been a devoted Yankees fan for many years. Mr. Bertini had served his country in the Merchant Marines during WWII followed by service in the U.S. Army between 1946 and 1952 during the Korean War. Following his military service, Mr. Bertini had worked for many years at the Food Fair stores and Pantry Pride.
Paul is the son of the late Tibero and Elvira Bertini. He is survived by his wife Frances and his sons; Paul, Jr. & his wife Joanne and Thomas & his wife Cathy. Mr. Bertini is the proud grandfather of; Paul, III, Janel, Jamie and Jenna, Thomas, Stefanie and Victoria. He is also survived and will be sadly missed by his sister Edna, his brother Marino & his wife Silva as well as his many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the Bertini family to remember and pay tribute to Paul on Friday morning between 10 am and 12 pm at the Henry Funeral Home 152 W. Atlantic Ave. Audubon where funeral services will be celebrated at 12 pm. Fr. Michael Hegarty, presiding. Interment and graveside tribute will follow at Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill.
