Peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 8, 2015 with her family and life long friend at her bedside. Pat (nee Dunn) was 80 years old. She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years William R. Ruggles, her seven loving children Deborah Garrison (Harvey), Paul (Pam), Diane Chafe (Philip), Mark (Laura), David (Karen), Patti Butts and Jeff (Amber), her loving 22 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Thomas J. Dunn (Clare), close friend Velma Nazar, and many nieces and nephews.
Pat was born in Cooper Hospital and raised in Gloucester City and Crescent Park and graduated from Gloucester Catholic High School. Pat was an active member of the Westville Baptist Church for many years while raising her family and was currently attending the New Beginnings Bible Fellowship Church in Woodbury Heights. Over the course of her life Pat worked at Bell Telephone, JC Penny's, the Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry and the B.A.C. and also enjoyed roller skating, bowling, reading, and scrabble. During her entire married life she regularly engaged in spirited conversations with her husband Bill.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Saturday July 11 at 10:00am at the New Beginnings Bible Fellowship Church, 335 Glassboro Rd., Woodbury Hts., NJ 08097 In lieu of flowers the family has requested Memorial Donations in Pat's name be made to the Mission Fund of New Beginnings Bible Fellowship Church. Arrangement have been entrusted to the ETHERINGTON-CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, Gloucester City. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.etheringtonfh.com
