Nicholas R. Young

Nicholas R. Young age 78 of Voorhees, and Ocean City, NJ, Marco Island FL, and formerly of Audubon and Stratford, NJ, passed away on Sunday February 10, 2013.
Mr. Young grew up and was raised in Audubon, as well as owning and operating the Young Agency in town on Merchant Street. He was a member of Tavistock Country Club, and former member of Laurel Oaks Country Club in Voorhees, and Greate Bay Country Club in Somers Point. He was an avid golfer and fisherman, enjoying the beach and fishing on his Grady White with his many fishing budies in Ocean City. He was also a member of the Rotary and Pioneer Club both of Audubon, and the 65 Club of Haddonfield.
Mr. Young is the son of the late Albert and Dorothy Young, and the beloved husband of Marie (nee Miller). Loving father of Jeffrey Young (Jennifer) of Haddon Heights, and Janice Pierce (Clark) of Stratford, and dear brother of John C. Young (Lois) of Woodbine, NJ, the late Albert Young Jr. (Aileen), and the late June McDermott. Proud grandfather of Colin, Corey, and Caroline Pierce, and Vanessa Young. He is also survived by his brother in law William McDermott, his two sisters in law Evelyn Ramsey and Alice Breuninger, and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation the morning of Thursday February 14th from 9:30-11:00AM at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 325 S. White Horse Pike. Audubon, NJ 08106. Funeral service will begin at 11:00AM. Interment to be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mr. Young's memory may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
