Nadyne R Semenick

Nadyne R. Semenick of Atco, NJ, formerly of Haddon Heights and Barrington, age 87, passed away on Tuesday January 17, 2012 at her residence, The Fountains at Cedar Parke. She is predeceased by her husband Joseph Semenick, her parents Wallace & Lukeria Smatuk and two sisters Leda Pierce & Barbara Jenks. Nadyne is survived by a sister Elynore Lange, a niece Barbara Lynn Lange & nephew Steven Lange all of CA; also many other nieces, nephews, godchildren & friends.

Nadayne was born and raised in Phila. before moving to Haddon Heights. She was an active member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, the Haddon Heights Forever Young Club, Haddon Heights Ambulance Auxiliary and the AARP. She also spent countless hours volunteering her time by visiting shut-ins and ensuring that special events such as a birthday or an illness were acknowledged through the Sunshine Club. After moving to the Fountains at Cedar Parke from Barrington, she continued her involvement with the Welcoming Committee and was responsible for starting the support group for macular degeneration. Nadyne's other hobbies and artistic interest were painting in water colors and designing & decorating Pysanki Ukrainian Easter eggs.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Tuesday morning from 10-11AM at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Green Street & White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights, NJ 08035 followed by the Burial Office & Requiem. lnterment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Nadyne's memory may be made to the church at the above address.
