Mildred B. Reckeweg, age 81 of Westmont, NJ passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday November 2, 2010.
Mildred was born in Camden, NJ in 1929. She married Donald Reckeweg 57 years ago and as a married couple they moved to Audubon, NJ where they resided for more than 50 years. She devoted her life to her home and family and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Haddon Heights. She was an avid bowler and loved to play board games. She also loved making and teaching ceramics.
Mrs. Reckeweg is the beloved wife of Donald Reckeweg; loving mother of Donald P. and Diane, Judith L. Greg Hammell and Linda Shelley (Fred). Mildred will also be dearly missed by her 5 grand-daughters Jessica, Kerry, Kamie, Chrissie and Aubrey.
Relatives and friends are invited to remember and pay tribute to Mildred on Thursday November 11, 2010. Visitation begins at 10:30am and a memorial service will begin at 11:00am. Reception and lunch will follow in the Church Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers donations in Mildred's memory can be made to the First United Methodist Church of Haddon Heights, 704 Garden Street, Haddon Heights, NJ 08035 or to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Marlton, NJ 08035. Arrangements under the direction of HENRY FUNERAL HOME.
