Mildred Anna O'Farrell

On November 20, 2017, of South Barrington, IL, previously of Alpharetta, GA, Haddon Heights and Oaklyn, NJ, age 88. Daughter of the late Charles and Mamie Thomas; beloved mother of Donna (Barry) Hafft, Linda (Andy) McDonald, Diane O'Farrell-Sexton, and Ruth Banford; cherished grandmother of Christopher (Kristin) Gifford, Lauren (Collin) Smith, Jenna (Ryan) Larkin, the late Karly Hafft, Andrew McDonald, and Joseph Banford. Dear great-grandmother of Joshua, Evelea, and Emma. Mildred retired in 1994 from her position as Administrative Assistant to the Principle at Woodrow Wilson High School in Camden, NJ. Loved by both students and staff, Mildred referred to her 23 years there as "the best years of my life." Relatives and friends are invited to meet Thursday, Nov. 30th, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the Creran Funeral Home, 400 White Horse Pike, Oaklyn, NJ. Mildred's Funeral Service will be held 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment at Harleigh Cemetery will be private at the request of her family. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made "In memory of Mildred O'Farrell" to the NICU Program at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation, P.O.
