Michele C (Simpson) Phillips

The Universe falls in love with a stubborn heart. Michele C. Phillips was a fighter who fought for those she cared about in a way that lead others to join her. She loved her family and kids under constant worry about how they’re doing. She enjoyed being a mom and a grand mom. To the world Michele may have been just a mother, but to her family she was the world.

On Wednesday January 13, 2021 Michele passed away comfortably at home in Magnolia, surrounded by the love of her family at the age of 55.

Michele was born in Camden and had been a Magnolia resident. She was a doting mother and homemaker who took care of her family and enjoyed spending time at the amusement park.

Michele is the daughter of Paula (nee Jenkins) and the late Walter Simpson. She is survived by her companion Ted Price and is the mother of Jenifer Phillips & Shawn Kennedy, Michael & his wife Robin, Andrew, Ryan, Eric & his wife Latravia and the late Stephen Phillips. She is the proud grandmother of; Neveah, Mike, Jr., Caleb, Conner, Sky, Star, Tyler, Mason, Shawn, Castiel, Ariah, Eric, Jr. and Emerson. Michele is also survived and will be sadly missed by her brother Walter & his wife Debra Simpson and Kimberly Simpson.

Relatives, friends and neighbors are invited to gather with the Phillips family on Saturday afternoon January 16th. We’ll be sharing heartfelt stories between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm at Creran Celebration Etherington & Creran Funeral Homes 700 Powell St. Gloucester City where a remembrance ceremony will begin at 4:00 pm. The time honored tradition of reuniting those we love with nature will be held privately.
