Melissa Byrnes

Melissa Byrnes, age 37 of Gloucester, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, October 31, 2024. Melissa was born in Washington Twp. and had been a Gloucester City neighbor. She leaves to cherish her memory, her parents, Marlene and her husband Jeffrey Maxie and Michael Byrnes. She is also survived by her son Andre Sojo, her siblings, Shane Maxie and Ashley Strayeu (John), and her paternal grandmother Jean Byrnes. She is also survived and will be sadly missed by her nephews, Mathew and Damien Poper, and Izaiah as well as her aunts Rethea Foster and Catherine Barker and Uncle John and Cousin John Allen. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family in a celebration of remembrance on Friday, November 15th at Living Water Bible Church 177 Kings Highway, Mt. Royal where a memorial ceremony will begin at 10:00 am.
