Mary M. Panzano (nee Monroe), age 82 of Audubon, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2008, surrounded by her family at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia.
Beloved wife of the late Michael R. Panzano. Devoted mother of Michael B. and his wife Rosemary of Mantua, Cathy West and her partner Beth of Hainesport, Nancy of Atco, the late Thomas F., and the late Robert Richelieu Panzano . Proud grandmother of Lauren, Bob, Greg, Lori, Dan, Dana, and Holly. Dear great grandmother of Liza, Kasey, and Julia. Loving sister of Ethel Vetterman and the late Ralph Monroe. Loyal friend of Marianne Panzano of Blackwood and Carol Zelenski of Haddon Heights.
Mrs. Panzano was born in Camden and was a longtime resident of Audubon. The quintessential wife and mother, she opened her heart to 7 foster children in addition to her own. Prior to her retirement, she was employed for 19 years at Dunkin Donuts in Bellmawr, where she was affectionately known as "Mom" to all and made many dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the Panzano family to remember and pay tribute to Mary on Thursday evening between 6:30 and 9 pm and on Friday morning between 10 and 11 am at the funeral home Audubon where a remembrance service will be celebrated at 11 am. Interment and graveside tribute will follow at the William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.
