Mary F. Ewald (nee Sweeney) age 82 of Mt. Ephraim, NJ passed away peacefully at home on Monday July 21, 2008. She was predeceased by her beloved husband John "Jack" Ewald, her brother Charles Sweeney, her sister Caroline Slevin and nephew Bill Slevin.
Mary was the dear mother of Fran Ewald of Mt. Ephraim and James J. Ewald & his wife Peg of Medford. She was the proud Grandmother of Kaitlin of Medford and was the sister of Elizabeth Sweeney of Audubon. She is also survived by her brother in law and sister in law George and Barbara Ewald of Somerdale; also many nieces and nephews:
Linda, Billy, Paul and Sharon all of NJ, Chuck, Pat, Terry and Mickey all of PA. The Ewald family would like to extend a special thank you and acknowledgement to Kate, who was our mother's friend, companion and loving caregiver.
Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday 11:30AM at St. Maurice R.C. Church, Rt. 130 & Community Rd., Brooklawn Fr. Frederick Link Celebrating. Interment and graveside tribute will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill. Relatives and friends are invited to join the Ewald family to remember and pay tribute to Mary on Thursday evening between 7 and 9PM and on Friday morning between 10 and 11AM at the funeral.As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers the Ewald family would appreciate Mass cards or contributions to: Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053
