Marion Y. Kreckmann
September 9, 1925 — July 8, 2012
Age 86 of Haddon Heights, NJ passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday July 8, 2012.
She was a homemaker but her passion for music continued over 17 years as organist for the Audubon United Methodist Church. Marion had been an active member of the church for over 60 years and was a member of the Fidelis Class (Women's Sunday School Class) and United Methodist Women. She and her husband had the privilege and opportunity to travel extensively throughout the United States, Europe and the Middle East.
Marion is survived by her dear husband of 65 years Frederick "Fred" H. Kreckmann; her loving children: Marilyn "Lyn" Radley & her husband Scott of Haddon Twp., Gary Kreckmann & his wife Fran of Chadwick Beach Island, Lavallette, NJ and Kim Kreckmann & his wife Dorothy of Perryville, MD. Also 7 cherished grandchildren: Scott Radley, Jr, Heather Montgomery, Derrick Kreckmann, Andrew Kreckmann, Monika Kreckmann, Allison Kreckmann & Jake Kreckmann; and 8 great grandchildren. Marion is predeceased by her sister & brother David Young & Ruth Suplee.
The family will greet friends from 10-11AM Saturday morning, July 14 at Audubon United Methodist Church, Wyoming & Graisbury Ave, Audubon, NJ 08106. A Celebration Service will follow at 11AM.
As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, contributions in Marion's memory may be made to the: Pipe Organ Fund, c/o Audubon United Methodist Church.
