Marie V. Sabo

September 9, 1914 — March 21, 2008

(nee Jarozynski) on Good Friday morning, March 21, 2008, Marie passed peacefully to the merciful arms of Our Lord at the Cathedral Gerentology Center in Jacksonville, FL.

Beloved wife of 40 years to the late Stephen Sabo (March '86), devoted mother of Barbara Sabo Moore and husband Lawrence E. "Cotton" Moore. Born in Camden, NJ the eldest daughter of and predeceased by her father Stanley and mother Veronica (Laskowski) Jarozynski, siblings Stanley, Thomas and Anna Jarozynski, Genevieve Clancy and Agnes Canavan. Also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Before moving to Jacksonville, FL in 2003, Marie worked effortlessly as a beautician, enjoying knitting, reading, entertaining in her well-kept home at 120 Lincoln Ave., West Collingswood Hgts., NJ and spending time at the Jersey shore. Her gracious spirit and beautiful smile will be forever cherished. She participated in many Polish American events, enjoyed traveling with the J&R Young at Heart Club, Runnemede, NJ and was a lifetime member of the Altar and Rosary Society at Holy Maternity Church in Audubon,NJ.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. A. Robert Cairone on Saturday, March 29th 10:30am, Holy Maternity Church, 431 W. Nicholson Rd., Audubon, NJ 08106. Viewing and Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:15am in the church prior to Mass. Entombment Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Cherry Hill, NJ.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Holy Maternity Church or St. Patrick's Catholic Church "Building Fund", 1429 Broward Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32218.
