Age 89 of Barrington, passed away on Friday August 20, 2010. Survived by John F. Mahaun of Rotonda West, Florida, Barbara J. Wagner of Sarasota, Florida, Linda M. Carter of Plano, Texas and Ann Beth Robbins of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Miss Mahaun was born in Philadelphia, PA and had been a life-long resident of Barrington. Polly, as friends and family knew her, had worked for the Atlantic Richfield Company for more than 34 years. Shortly after retirement she went on to work for the Thomas Garlin Travel Agency. Miss Mahaun was very active in the community and was a member of the Audubon Chapter of OES, the Timber Creek Chapter of Deborah Hospital and was a past Director of the Atlantic Employees Recreational Association. Polly was a longtime Parishioner of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Haddon Heights as well as a member of St. Peters Episcopal Church on 3rd and Pine Streets in Philadelphia.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the Mahaun family to remember and pay tribute to Polly on Thursday morning between 10 and 11 am at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Haddon Heights were Burial Office and Requiem will be offered at 11 am. Interment and graveside tribute will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson. Miss Mahuan asked that no flowers be sent and that in lieu of such, donations be made to: St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 18 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights, NJ 08035 or the charity of your choice.
