Margaret Lubonski

December 11, 1920 — September 14, 2016

On September 14, 2016, (nee Meccariello) of Oaklyn and a resident of Brightview Mt. Laurel for the last nine years, age 95. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Lubonski, loving mother of Margaret McLaughlin (Pat) and Robert Lubonski (Karol). Dear sister of Anthony and John Meccariello and the late Phyllis Carlyle, James, Louis and Armand Meccariello. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren Marylou Klinke (Michael), Brian Chambers (Kristine), Stacy Chillsczyn (Steve), great grandchildren Alexander, Matthew, Victoria and Alyssa, sister-in-law Evelyn Meccariello and many dear nieces and nephews. Marge was an active member of St. Aloysius Parish for many years. She was a past president of the school's PTA and member of the Altar & Rosary Society. She worked on many of the church's socials, carnivals and bazaars and was a member of the parish bowling league. Marge was also a member of the Oaklyn Women's and Senior Citizen's Clubs. She enjoyed attending the Campbell Soup Retiree functions and taking trips with the seniors. Relatives and friends are invited to meet Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, St. Aloysius Church, 37 W. Haddon Ave., Oaklyn, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Assoc.,150 Monument Rd., Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
