On Thursday October 13th, 2022, we learned how lucky we were to have known her love with wonder, not grief. Our tears not only fell, but the wonderous memories will follow us to come. Lorraine F. Stech (nee Mihalick) was born in Camden, New Jersey. She was strong and courageous throughout her life in every aspect. Throughout her years Lorraine cared for everyone, was a good listener and was always interested in what was going on with you. She was a sacrificing woman who always put others before herself and showed much love to all. While raising four children, she furthered her education as a CNA at the former Greenbriar Nursing Home in Deptford.
She was a quick-witted jokester, never missed the annual crab fest and was a competitive bowler, bowling a perfect 300 game. At home, she cheered on the Fightin’ Phillies. She adored her dogs, Teddy, Chase, and Luda as well as spending time in her garden.
Lorraine is the daughter of late Francis and his wife Sophia (nee Rog) Mihalick. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children; Christian Stech Jr., Michelle Marigliano (Rocky), Deborah Ann Debella (John), and Theresa Darji (Trushant). She is the proud grandmother of; Kaylyn, Charles, and Ashley Cook, Holly and Matthew Marigliano, Brenden, Korina, Abigail, and Arianna Darji, and great grandmother of Oliver Miller. Lorraine was predeceased by her sister, Patricia Winkler. She will be sadly missed by her sister Marianne Colavita (Jay) as well as her brother-in-law Frank Winkler.
Relatives, friends, and neighbors are invited to gather with the Stech family. We will be sharing our heartfelt stories and taking comfort in each other on Wednesday morning, October 19th, 2022, between 10 am and 12 pm at Creran Celebration Etherington & Creran Funeral Home 400 White Horse Pike, Oaklyn. A graveside tribute will follow the services at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Blackwood, New Jersey.
In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to the Diabetes Foundation. www.diabetes.org P.O. Box 7023 Merrifield, VA 22116.
