Born on August 23, 2016, at 10:44 AM to his parents Geraldo (Jerry) and Autumn Havers-Martinez at Virtua Hospital, Voorhees, NJ. He weighed 7 lbs. 10 oz. and was 19 inches long. Although we knew Logan's life with us would be short, we were deeply blessed for the time we had with him while he danced in Mommy's womb and made Daddy smile with his kicks and turns. We waited for his birth with hopeful expectation and were honored to hold him close as he passed from our arms into the arms of Jesus after 60 beautiful and unforgettable minutes.
Logan was a handsome, sweet baby boy, who touched so many lives in such a short time. He is the little brother of Aiden and will always hold a special place in his heart. Logan is loved by his grandparents Donna and Thomas Havers, Jose Martinez and Margarita Santiago, and Leonora and Eddie Santos, his god parents Donna Joe Havers and Hector Estrada and many aunts, uncles, cousins.
We are very grateful and humbled by the countless acts of service and endless emotional support we received from our friends and family throughout this hard time. Words cannot express the blessing you have been as we have walked this journey of grief and joy. A special thanks to Etherington-Creran Funeral Home and New St. Mary's Cemetery for your compassion and support in our time of need, as well as Kristen and Rich from Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep for capturing our memories with photos. Also the wonderful assistance of Virtua NICU Unit and Anne Coyle from the Virtua Comfort Program who helped make all our wishes for Logan's arrival possible. Without your compassion and care our time wouldn't have been as loving and peaceful as it was. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Services will be held Thursday at the ETHERINGTON-CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 700 POWELL ST., GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ. Visitation is from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with a Memorial Service at 1:00 PM. Interment of Ashes will follow at New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations for the family or teddy bears for other grieving families at Virtua Hospital can be made through the funeral home.
