On June 15, 2016, of Westmont, NJ. Age 84 years. Survived by loving companion Benjamin Micale and his family and her children: Thomas Oppecker (Nancy), Louise Greenberg (Mark), Robert Oppecker (Janet), Joseph Oppecker Jr. (Delores), Vincent Oppecker (Danielle) and James Oppecker (Wanda). Cherished grandmother of Alysha, Jacob, Daniel, Michael, Gabriel, Theodor, Jason and Gus and great grandmother of Nathan. She's also survived by her dear sister, Margaret Philbin (Larry). Letitia raised a family of six children with Joseph L. Oppecker. She was an art teacher at the Atlantic City High School for over 25 years before retiring in 1994. Letitia was a loving mother, accomplished painter, beloved teacher, peace activist and member of Pax Christi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday June 18th at 12:00pm at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, St. Vincent Pallotti Church, with interment immediately following in Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill. A public viewing will be held at 10:30am at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family would like Memorial Donations to be made in Letitia Oppecker's name to Pax Christi, 415 Michigan Avenue #240, Washington DC 20017 or at www.paxchristiusa.org. Arrangements were entrusted to the Creran Funeral Home, Oaklyn, NJ. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.creranfh.com
