Leonard C. Cianfrani, age 89 of Audubon, passed away peacefully on Sunday October 25, 2009 at Cooper River West, Pennsauken.
Mr. Cianfrani was born in Philadelphia, PA and had been a lifetime resident of Audubon. He was a 1939 graduate of Audubon High and active in sports throughout his life. Leonard had faithfully defended his country during WWII in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1946. He had worked as a Compositor at N.W. Ayer & Sons in Philadelphia for 25 years then at Saunders, also in Philadelphia for 12 years.
A devoted husband of 60 years, Mr. Cianfrani is survived by his wife Florence (nee dekonski) of Audubon. He is the father of Brenda of Collingswood and is also survived and will be sadly missed by his brother William & his wife Linda of Audubon as well as several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Join the Cianfrani family to remember and pay tribute to Leonard on Wednesday between 10 and 11 am at Holy Maternity Church 431 W. Nicholson Rd. Audubon. Where a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 am, Fr. Michael Hegarty, Celebrating. Inurnment will be held privately.
