Kellie A. Hinshillwood Smith

May 24, 1973 — July 12, 2016

On July 12, 2016, (nee Hinshillwood) of Haddon Twp., NJ, age 43. She is the beloved wife of Jason C. Smith and loving mother of Tommy, Abbie and Ella. She is also survived by her loving parents Harry and Cindy Hinshillwood and dear sister Krista Faust (Chris). Kellie was an Assistant Professor at Thomas Jefferson University and had been published in the New England Journal of Medicine. She graduated from Collingswood HS in 1991, received a BSN from the College of NJ, her Masters from Thomas Jefferson University and a PhD from Nova Southern. Kellie loved to run, travel and spend time at the beach. She was also a supporter of JDRF and the American Cancer Society.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet Friday from 6:30 to 9:00 PM and again Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 400 WHITE HORSE PIKE, OAKLYN, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, 10:30 AM, at Blessed Teresa Calcutta Parish, St. John's Church, 809 Park Ave., Collingswood, NJ. Interment will follow Mass at Locustwood Memorial Park in Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers Kellie's family would appreciate memorial donations be made to Breast Cancer Research.
