John V. Jakubowski

July 15, 1932 — December 22, 2010

Age 78 , of Voorhees, formerly of Audubon, NJ passed on Wednesday December 22, 2010.

John served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict from 1950-1952. He spent 45 years working in the electronics business, 17 of which were with General Radio Supply and 28 with Hamilton Avnet Electronics in Mount Laurel, NJ.
Mr. Jakubowski is predeceased by his wife Marian Jakubowski(nee Tussey). He is the loving companion of Mary Grabowski. Devoted father of John V. Jakubowski Jr.(Barbara); David Jakubowski(Kathy); James Jakubowski(Jill); Daniel Jakubowski(Sandy); Steven Jakubowski(Debbie); Scott Jakubowski(Kelly); Robert Jakubowski(Jen); Patty de la Cuesta(Albar) and Paula Doll(Tim). He is the proud grandfather of 23: Kyle, Eric, Emma, Brian, Julie(Ragon), Sean, Zach, Alex, Kelly(Joel), Kasey, Dan, Rob, Steven, Matthew, Tommy, Kristina, Lukas, Max, Chase, Riley, Joelle, Ally and Jeremy; and the great grandfather of Bria. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Frances and Jess.

Relatives and friends are invited to remember and pay tribute to John on Monday evening December 27 between 6-8PM at the HENRY FUNERAL HOME and again on Tuesday morning between 9-10AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10:30AM at Emmaus Catholic Communtiy-Holy Maternity Church, 431 W. Nicholson Rd, Audubon, Fr. Michael Hegarty Celebrant. Burial and Military Honors St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Jakubowski's memory can be made to The Marian Jakubowski Little League Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 33, Audubon, NJ 08106.
