John Ivins

IVINS, John C. On April 15, 2009, of Audubon, formerly of Merchantville. Age 79. Beloved husband of 56 years to Virginia (nee Crimm). Devoted father of Jack Ivins and wife Marilyn, and Susan Ostrum and husband Gus. Grandfather of Bob, Niki and Kim. Dear brother of June Sidoriak and Ted Ivins. Mr. Ivins worked for 33 years as a dredging inspector for the Army Corps of Engineers; and 10 years as a security guard for Garden State Race Track. He loved being with his family, watching all Philadelphia sports, going fishing, and visiting the casino and race track. He will be sadly missed by his family and his dog April. Services are private by request of the family.
