John L. Campbell age 89 of Audubon, NJ passed away on Monday October 10, 2011. He is the beloved husband of 61 years to the late Jean T. Campbell (nee Bradley).
John is survived by his loving daughter and son-in-law Jeanne & Mark Knight of Audubon, proud grandfather of Stephanie (Todd) Mertz, Cynthia (Joe) Blinebury, Jaclyn Lowden & Lenny Robinson, Mark (Jackie) Knight and Jeremy (Nicole) Knight, as well as great grandfather of Michaela and Liam Mertz and Scarlette and Brandon Knight.
Born in the Fairview section of Camden, Mr. Campbell had been a long time resident of Audubon. He was a WWII US Navy veteran and served during the Pacific campagne from 1943-46. He retired from Campbell Soup as an electrical draftsman. John was also a member and 3rd Degree Master Mason of Audubon Parkside Lodge #218 F&AM.
At the request of the family, services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to: Southwest Indian Children's Fund, PO Box 906,
