On January 14, 2017, of Oaklyn, NJ, age 67. He is the beloved husband of Doreen M. (nee Pilger), loving father of Stacie, John J. Jr., and Ryan Boris, and dear grandfather of Danielle Boris. He is also survived by his sister Pauline Boris and many nieces and nephews. John was a Computer Systems Administrator for the Arch Diocese of Philadelphia. Prior to that, he retired from the Federal Government after 30 years of service holding various positions at the Defense Industrial Supply Center, US Mint & Frankford Arsenal. He served on the Board of Directors of the League of Professional System Administrators (LOPSA). John was involved in youth & high school football his entire life, either on the field coaching or behind the scenes handing the operations. Most recently is was an assistant football coach at Camden Catholic High School. Relatives and friends are invited to meet Friday from 10:30 AM to 12:00 Noon at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, St. Aloysius Church, 37 W. Haddon Ave., Oaklyn, NJ. John's Memorial Mass will be held at 12:00 Noon. Interment will be private at the request of his family. In lieu of flowers, his family would appreciate memorial donations be made to Camden Catholic Football, c/o Nick Strom, 300 Cuthbert Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08002.
