Joan M. Williams

On October 5, 2015, (nee Powell) of Gloucester City, NJ, age 75. She is the beloved wife of Robert J. Williams and loving mother of Robert J. Jr. (Donna) and Bonnie J. Wise (Scott). She is also survived by her dear grandchildren Lauren McNulty (Thomas), Renee and Michelle Williams, Lori Krieger, Michael Wise and great grandchildren Dakota Reicheiderfer, Carmine Randolph and Giselle McNulty. Joan was predeceased by her parent John and Helen Powell, her brothers John (Janet) and Benjamin Powell and her dear aunt Ethel Roden (Edward). For over 20 years Joan worked as a bus and cafeteria aid at Cold Springs School in Gloucester City. She was a past president of Gloucester City Fire Company's Ladies Auxiliary and a past member of the Highland Park Fire Assoc. Ladies Auxiliary. Joan was also a coach for Gloucester City Mustangs Cheerleading for more than 20 years. Relatives and friends are invited to meet Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and again Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at ETHERINGTON-CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 700 POWELL ST., GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ. Joan's funeral service will be held 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Harleigh Cemetery, Camden, NJ.
