JEAN B. HUNT
Born in Butler PA, to Andrew J. Beikert and Margaret C. (nee Callen) Beikert, Jean spent her childhood in Western Pennsylvania before moving to New York for college, moving around the country based on her family's circumstances, serving as a missionary in the Philippines and finally settling in Southern New Jersey. With a quiet hope and confidence in God's love, Jean faced life's ups and downs and cultivated a personal dignity, devoting her life to service and generosity. Throughout her life, she took special notice of the hurting, troubled and forgotten, and brought encouragement into their lives. Jean deeply loved her children and grandchildren and encouraged them to develop their talents, interests and character, and to invest themselves in useful and enduring things. She inherited her parent's love for other cultures, frequently read about and prayed for Christians and God's work in other lands, and until her last days retained her love of learning. Jean left a legacy of cheerful service and a life lived wholly for God. Jean is survived by her children Jonathan Hunt, Jodi Clark, Julene Bier and June Renee Chesley, 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and sisters Marilou Washburn, Margaret "Margie" Mann, Naomi Seaver and Elisabeth "Betty" Pierson. Relatives and friends are invited to meet Monday, January 4th, at 2:00pm for a time of visitation at Grace Presbyterian Church, 550 Union Mill Road, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm at the Church. Interment is private at the request of the family.
