James D. McCausland, age 80 of Collingswood, passed away at his home on Friday, December 9, 2022.
Jim was born in Philadelphia and had been a longtime Collingswood resident. Jim was a good neighbor. He enjoyed flea markets, good diner food, and time away with his wife and family camping. Jim made his career as a heavy equipment operator and spent his years working for the Borough of Collingswood. He was an avid archer and a longtime member of the Obissquasoit Bowmen in Alloway, NJ.
Mr. McCausland is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Ruth (nee Docherty), and his children; Ryan, Nancy Roscioli Mataleska, Sean, and David McCausland. He is the proud grandfather of 8 and the brother of; Francis, Albert “Mickey”, Rose Ferguson, and Carol “Anne”. He was predeceased by his siblings, the late, William, the late Raymond, and the late Ronald. He is also survived and will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews; Colleen Hull, Fran, Jr., Gregory, and Raymond McCausland, Jr. as well as many others, too numerous to mention.
Relatives, friends, and neighbors are invited to gather with the McCausland family. We’ll be sharing our heartfelt stories on Monday morning between 10:00 and 11:00 am at Creran Celebration Etherington & Creran Funeral Homes 400 White Horse Pike, Oaklyn where a remembrance ceremony will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will immediately follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson.
