James R. Flanagan, Jr., age 57 of Gloucester, passed away at Inspira Hospital, Mullica Hill on Saturday, March 29, 2024.
Jim was born in Camden and spent all his days in Gloucester, making his career as a city employee of Woodbury.
Jim is survived by his wife Carol O’Brien - Flanagan and is the father of; Joseph (Cameron) O’Brien, Samantha (Pete) O’Brien, John Flanagan, and Jason (Joanie) O’Brien. He is the proud grandfather of; Lorelei Kaelin, Jace O’Brien, Aiden Flanagan, James Flanagan, Ryan O’Brien, Christopher O’Brien, and Grayson Vogt. Jim is also survived and will be sadly missed by his furry best friend, Lola as well as his nieces. Jim was predeceased by his brother Thomas Phillips.
Relatives, friends, and neighbors are invited to gather with the Flanagan family. We’ll come together on Thursday evening between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm at Creran Celebration Etherington & Creran Funeral Homes 700 Powell St., Gloucester where a family remembrance will begin at 8:00 pm.
