James Eaise, 84, of Audubon, NJ, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2015 surrounded by his family.
James was survived by his beautiful wife of 63 years, Catherine Eaise (Moresi), his son, James Jr. (Nancy), and his daughters, Debra Malony (Martin), Teri Witzel (Raymond) and Kathy Kuzmanich (Daniel). He was also continually surrounded and loved by his 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren (and one on the way).
James was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on April 25, 1931 to Mary (McKenna) and Allie Eaise. He is survived by his three brothers, Norman, Donald and Kenneth and preceded in death by his brother, Edward.
Jim was an All-American soccer player. He was Staff Sergeant for the United States Air Force and was awarded both Good Conduct Medal and National Defense Service Medal in 1955. James went on to work as Director of Marketing for Midvale-Heppenstall in Philadelphia, PA for 18 years and National Forge Steel Company in Warren, PA for an additional 10. He later opened his family-run company, AC Lumber Company, before retiring to concentrate on time with his family. James was a talented carpenter and not only built his own home but also many pieces of furniture that remain in the homes of family and friends.
Despite his many accomplishments, there was nothing more important to James than his family. He was a wonderful example of selflessness, love, support, guidance and family tradition. He is the heart and rock of our family and will forever live in our hearts.
