The son of Scottish immigrants James and Mary "Mae" (nee Pattison) Darroch, Rev. Darroch was born July 21, 1928 in Philadelphia. "Jim" was a graduate of Northeast High School. Upon turning 17, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He went on to earn his bathelor's degree from Maryville College and master's degree from Princeton Theological Seminary. He served the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) as pastor in Axtell, Neb., Dayton, N.J., and Audubon, N.J., until retiring in 1993.

Devoted father of Douglas (Tracee) Darroch, Elizabeth (K.C.) Coggins, Gregory
Darroch and Alison (Richard) Schwarz.
Loving grandfather of Lauren (Justin) Coe, Kristen (Michael) D'Amico, Callie Darroch, Kristina Coggins, Julie Coggins, Dean Schwarz and Jack Schwarz and
great-grandfather of Madelyn D'Amico.
Visitation Friday, July 3, 2015 from 10 am - 12 PM, a Funeral service will follow at 12 PM in the Logan Memorial Presbyterian Church, 18 W. Merchant St., Audubon, NJ 08106.
A private burial will take place at the George Washington Memorial Park in Plymouth Meeting, PA.
