It is with deep sorrow and broken hearts that we unfortunately share our sorrow in the tragic and untimely passing of Jaclyn M. Soukup (nee Monteleone), 41, of Vineland, who left us on Thursday, March 6, 2025, in Williamstown. Born in Stratford, Jackie’s spirit embraced life with an uncontainable energy and heart.
Jackie was a woman whose laugh could brighten any room, whose smile—a radiant 5-mile smile—could light up the darkest of days. She had a quirky, goofy personality and an ability to turn even the simplest moments into something extraordinary. Her "Jackieisms" were the jokes and quirks that left those around her in fits of laughter, making each conversation feel like an unforgettable adventure.
In every way, Jackie lived life as a free spirit. Impulsive and passionate, she was a force of nature—always ready to take on the world on her own terms. She danced like no one was watching, laughed louder than the crowd, and loved with an intensity that matched the most powerful of storms. But in her heart, Jackie was simply a daddy's girl—someone who understood that the greatest gift in life is to love and be loved in return.
She cherished moments spent in the kitchen, where her baked ziti was legendary, and found joy in the simplicity of trash TV and a glass of wine at a local winery. Jackie had an unspoken connection to the game of softball, and though life interrupted, she was always ready to pick up the bat again with the same determination and passion that defined her spirit.
To know Jackie was to feel her presence. Her love for life was contagious, and she left a lasting mark on all who knew her. She did not wait for a moment to be perfect; she lived in the present, making memories, making friends, and making the world a better place simply by being herself.
Though she has left us too soon, Jackie’s love lives on in her children, Nathan and Isabella, who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her beloved mother, JoAnn (nee Pavoni) Monteleone, her brother John Monteleone, and her faithful companion, Lincoln Hawk. Jackie was predeceased by her dear father, John. She is also survived by her close cousins: Lori and her husband Donald Bergquist, Anthony Pavoni, Christine Pavoni, Nikole and her husband Steve Hudson, and Erika and her husband Fernando Torres, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, and extended family, including Charles and his wife Debbie Monteleone, Maria Monteleone, and Donna and her husband Jim Barrett.
Relatives, friends, and neighbors are invited to gather with the Soukup family. We'll come together to remember and pay tribute to a free spirit who touched each of us in Jackie's own way on Wednesday morning between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm at Creran Celebration Etherington & Creran Funeral Homes 400 White Horse Pike, Oaklyn.
As we mourn her passing, we ask that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Jackie’s GoFundMe to support her children, Nathan and Isabella, in the days ahead. The link for contributions can be found below.
Jackie took our world with her without a goodbye, but she leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a reminder to always live boldly and love deeply. She will be missed beyond words, but never forgotten.
May you rest, knowing that the energy you brought to this world continues to live on in all of us who were touched by your beautiful, radiant soul.
