Hugh W. Curran

April 27, 1925 — October 30, 2009

Hugh W. Curran, On October 30, 2009 beloved husband of 63 yrs. to Margaret (nee Valentine); loving father of James H. Curran of W. Collingswood Hgts. and Diane Curran of Summerville, SC; dear brother of the late John Curran and Margaret Slawinski.
Mr. Curran was a lifelong resident of W. Collingswood Hgts.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army, WWII, 340th Field Artillery Battalion of the First Infantry Division in the battle of Normandy during the European campaign, and the African and Middle Eastern Campaigns. Hugh was a carpenter by trade and union member of Carpenters Local 393, Gloucester City, NJ. He had been a member of the W. Collingswood Hgts. Fire Co. and a long time member of Holy Maternity Church.

Relatives and friends are invited attend his Mass of Christian
Burial on Wednesday 11AM at Holy Maternity Church, 431 W. Nicholson Rd., Audubon, Fr. Michael Hegarty celebrant. Friends may call after 10AM at the church. Interment New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr. Flowers will be accepted or contributions in Hugh's memory may be made to: Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053
