Herbert Hoffman

Age 86, of Audubon, NJ passed away on Tuesday November 23, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center.

Born in Riverside, NJ in 1924, Herbert was a very proud US Navy Veteran who served his country during WWII. While enlisted Mr. Hoffman earned the Pacific Theater Ribbon, the American Theater Ribbon and the Victory Medal. Herbert spent many years working for Magnetic Metals as a Quality Control Specialist. In his spare time he loved fishing and volunteering for the Humane Society. He was a loving man who was quick to pass along his wisdom, whether it be on the proper way to scale a fish or how to change the oil in your car.

Herbert is the beloved husband of Anne Hoffman, loving father of William Hoffman(Marilyn), Mark Hoffman(Irene), Lori Hoffman(Steve), Lisa Hoffman(Harry), Charles Thorpe, Lisa Remington(Steve) and Cindy Tsrigos(Marc). Mr. Hoffman is the proud grandfather of 4 and great grandfather of 4. He will be sadly missed by his cousin Dolores Jones(Ralph).

Relatives and friends are invited to remember and pay tribute to Herbert on Tuesday November 30, 2010 11AM at the HENRY FUNERAL HOME. A memorial service will be held at 12PM. Burial and military honors will follow at Brig Gen Wm.C.Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arnerytown, NJ.
