Helen C. Adams

Helen C. Adams, age 95 of Audubon, passed away peacefully on Nov. 12, 2009 at the Victorian Assisted Living in Chatham, MA after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul M. Adams who died in 1990. Helen was born on November 23, 1912 in Philadelphia, PA., she was the oldest daughter of Leo and Margaret Laskowski, who had seven children.

She was a devoted mother and grandparent who enjoyed time with her family and friends. Helen was a successful Avon sales Representative for many years and passionate about pinochle, reading and time at the Jersey shore with her husband after retirement.

Mrs. Adams is survived by her son Paul V. Adams and his wife Anne-Marie of Harwichport, MA. She is also survived by her grandchildren Paul J. Adams and Karen A. Mahoney; brothers Joseph & Harry Laskowski; two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her four siblings, Stanley Laskowski, Florence Holzer, Clara Goldschmidt and Margaret Thomas.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the Adams family to remember and pay tribute to Helen on Monday November 23, 2009 between 9:30 and 10 am at Holy Maternity Church, 431 W. Nicholson Rd. Audubon where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am, Fr. Michael Hegarty, Celebrant. Inurnment and graveside tribute will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia.
