Harry R. Walker

On February 22, 2017, of Brooklawn, NJ, age 78. He is the beloved husband of Helen M. (nee Reader), loving father of Teresa Procida (Anthony), Harry Walker, Jr., Donna Due (Brian), Helenanne Pierman (Samuel), dear brother of Nonie Shute (late George) and Charles Walker (Mary). He is also survived by 14 dear grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Harry was predeceased by his beloved parents Harry L. and Ardith Walker and brothers Jack and Thomas. Harry was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #674 in Gloucester City. He enjoyed his monthly breakfast get together as well as his daily morning meetings with the "Old Timers" at Proprietors Park. Relatives and friends are invited to meet Monday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester City, NJ. Harry's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 Noon. Interment will be private at the request of his family. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial donations be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church at the address listed above or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
