Grace E. McLaughlin

Grace E. McLaughlin (nee Benner), age 88 of Audubon Park passed away on Monday July 13, 2009 at Compassionate Care Hospice in St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton, NJ.
Mrs. McLaughlin was born in Philadelphia, PA and had been a resident of Audubon Park for the past 38 years. She had worked in the record department at Korvettes and was an active Parishioner of Holy Maternity Church both in Audubon. Grace was an independent and meticulous wife, mother and animal lover. She loved to tend to her rose garden at home and take care of the neighborhood's cats. As a dedicated military wife Grace & her husband Barney got an opportunity to travel the world and live in Hawaii. She loved relaxing on the beach and day trips to Lancaster, PA. While at home Grace enjoyed being the life of the party but cherished her quiet time in front of the T.V. watching Lawrence Welk, The Price is Right, ice skating and she never missed Dancing With The Stars.
Mrs. McLaughlin is the wife of the late Bernard F. "Barney" McLaughlin U.S.N. Ret. and is the doting mother of Kathleen Derbyshire of Mullica Hill and Jessie & her husband Ed Hufnell of Deptford. Grace is the proud grandmother of Colleen Griffin, Mikaela Hufnell and is the sister of George and Bobby Benner, June Teufel and Ginny Andrelczyk.
