Born September 15, 1930, in Adrian, Michigan to Ashland S. Hunt, a farmer, and Ruth E. (Bailey) Hunt, a school teacher, Glen spent his childhood on a farm in southern Michigan. He graduated from Onsted High School in Onsted, Michigan, The King's College (formerly in Delaware) and Dallas Theological Seminary in Texas.

He worked for Owens Corning Fiberglass Company in production & warehousing in Barrington, New Jersey, Marland Construction Company and Moorestown Hardware.
Glen had a keen interest in geography and meeting new people. This manifested in his time as a missionary but continued after the mission field. He routinely traveled with groups from his church, Fellowship Community Church of Mount Laurel, New Jersey. He also was active in his Evesham Township neighborhood where he lived for many years, always helping others.
In the later years of his life, Glen was an especially thankful, gentle and praying man. He brought blessing and joy to others and to his family even while his mental abilities were frail. He loved and was loved, and will be missed.
