George H. Fisher

Passed away at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Camden on Saturday February 22, 2014. Beloved husband for 63 years of Beatrice Fisher (nee McCullough); loving father of Linda (Ron) Kegel; devoted grandfather of 2: Missy (Joseph) Garofolo and Colin (and his significant other Caitlin and her son Dublin); cherished great grandfather of 4: Serena, Andrew & Aidan Garofolo and Austin Kegel; also dear brother of: Patricia Midthum, Helen Reighn and the late Robert J. Fisher. George served his country in the United States Army and continued his service for the next 6 years in the Reserves. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Conrail for 40 years as a railroad car inspector. George was also a longtime member of Audubon United Methodist Church. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday March 8, 2014 at 2PM at the Audubon United Methodist Church, Wyoming & Graisbury Ave, Audubon, NJ 08106 Rev. Dr. Walter Jesuncosky presiding. In lieu of flowers and as a tribute to George's memory donations may be made to the church at the above address.
